This position is in charge of coordinating the maintenance plan and execution of all surface equipment in the asset, collaborate with the DSC and Production teams to synchronize activities and avoid maintenance downtime, document all maintenance activities in the system, follow up completion of jobs with the vendor and ensure EHS compliance.
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years experience in the field in a position that would include equipment maintenance
  • Follow & enforce Devon EHS policies and standards
  • Ensure EHS documentation in prepared work packs is complete
Activity planning:
  • Continuously review list of SAP generated and upcoming work orders, issued notifications, drilling & work overs schedules, construction/facilities teams and other undocumented field information
  • Synchronize and combine work activities to reduce downtime and costs
  • Prepare work packs incl. problem and activity description, schedule and outage constraints, estimate (costs, duration, labor, material, equipment), risk analyses, permits, drawings, resource skills, etc
  • Review availability of qualified and approved contractors 
  • Validate proposed maintenance activity with selected vendors, this includes activity task list, estimated man-hours, necessary material and  necessary tools/equipment
  • Ensure all necessary documentation, material and rented equipment is ready and complete prior to the start of the activity – preferably at least the day before
Activity close-out:
  • Ensure work packs returned by Lease Operators are complete
  • Review field tickets and invoices from contractors & compares them to completed work packs
  • Enter field information into SAP and closes-out work
  • Reporting & Maintenance reviews:
  • Review work order backlog
  • Prepare and participate in Monthly Maintenance Review Meeting
  • Ability to handle different processes
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated analytical and solving problems skills
  • Proficient with personal computer and spreadsheet software. SAP knowledge recommended  but not mandatory
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Position requires operation of Company vehicles. Incumbent must meet requirements of Company Policy
  • Must live within 55 miles of the Weatherford field office, preferably in a Northeasterly direction
