BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The Reservoir Technologist assists with reservoir engineering duties, project economic evaluations, reserves bookings, business performance analysis and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Applies skill and judgment to solve complex problems under general supervision.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree in technology or other related field
EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the provision of technical support to the reservoir engineering team in reserves analysis and reserves bookings, well and reservoir performance analysis and forecasting, project economic evaluations, and business performance analysis
• Analyze internal and external data
• Coordinate the maintenance, updating, and organization of technical databases and files systems
• Build and maintain economic evaluations
• Provide support in the analysis and reporting on the business performance of the business unit and the performance of the assets in the business unit
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, develop summary reports, charts and presentations
• Support development and updating of the annual budget and monthly business performance projections
• Must have a strong background in reviewing and organizing digital data for use in reports, supporting tools, and analysis
• Assist with presentation preparation
• Mentor less experienced employees
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred
• Practice safe work habits at all times

• Advanced Level computer skills
• Able to work independently, to prioritize projects and make progress on multiple priorities concurrently
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project related goals
• Technical experience with Mosaic or similar economic program, Excel, Microsoft Access, Harmony, Power BI
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
