The Spatial Data Management Professional should work under minimal supervision, provides support to the business units in complex matters relating to the review and acquisition of various forms of pipeline data, support One-Call and Utilisphere and have a background in GIS applications. Work with the business to find areas for process improvement or automation for data capture. 
Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred 
Requires a minimum of 4 years of related industry experience 
• May lead projects related to spatial/pipeline data and/or act in liaison capacity with other departments, divisions and organizations to assume a multi-disciplinary approach to projects 
• Liaison with One-Call operators, field landman, EHS support and field construction crews and provide support as needed 
• Maintain various state agency One-Call systems, Utilisphere, Pipeline Data Quality (PDQ) tool with the business 
• Facilitate and train others on entering pipeline pedigree data into Devon systems 
• Make sure all sites, corridors, and lines (i.e., pipeline, power, roads) exist in SiteView & GIS and have unique ID’s assigned along with up-to-date status and operator (in cases where Devon assigns constructed locations to a third party). 
• Add segment pedigree data (using PDQ tool) when a project is released to construction based on SOW (scope of work) documents.  Update segment data when job books received. Save all documents in Content Server (enterprise records management tool).  
• Add or update spatial data using various sources (ie job books, agency documents, communications from field personnel).  Update survey quality record depending on level of confidence. 
• Support PHMSA data capture, working with EHS and field to verify reportable and non-reportable lines.   
• Update state agency One-Call boundaries once a month if applicable and any Utilisphere updates.  
• Provide one call support for all BU’s. Help verify lines, pads, etc. as needed.  
• Assist in ensuring Survey Data Management (SDM) process is working for all and in place for all BU’s, and support tracking/reporting tools needed for surface development planning. 
• Support preparation and compliance of permits issued and/or administered by regulatory agencies 
• Maintaining operator information for post-construction assignments, acquisitions, and diverstitures. Includes reviewing acquisition and divestiture docs (ROW for example) to identify all pipeline lines/corridors/sites that need operator updated. 
• May act as mentor to less senior employees, providing direction, development, and guidance 
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred 
• Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes  
• Intermediate level computer skills 
• Proficient in the use of GIS, spatial tools (Utilisphere and ArcMap) 
• Able to travel as required
