The Geologist, under minimal supervision, performs complex duties related to the planning and executing of Devon’s drilling inventory. They must collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing their knowledge of the reservoir, to assist with development planning, drilling, and completions efforts in order to improve the economics of Devon’s inventory and existing base. The candidate will also be responsible for the addition of future reserves through exploration and appraisal efforts, including but not limited to the generation of new play concepts, integrated reservoir characterizations, appraisal planning, and data acquisition proposals. They will also provide recommendations on acquisitions, joint venture opportunities, and innovative technologies.
