Support the Incident Management and Life Safety programs with training, exercise, and day to day maintenance activities. 
Maintaining situational awareness of site threats/hazards. Assist during times of response and Incident Command Center activation.
College Degree or commensurate combination of college credits and job experience
Familiarity with basic weather terminology 
Working knowledge of mass notification software 
• Supporting Corporate and Field Emergency Management functions: 
• Serve as an Emergency Management point of contact. 
• Maintain situational awareness of events/incidents/weather occurring near Devon Energy Center.
• Coordinate and help to develop emergency response plans.
• Develop, execute/facilitate, and evaluate emergency response exercises and after-action reports. 
• Serve in the Devon Energy Center Incident Command Center during times of activation. 
• Coordinate with internal departments on emergency preparedness and response initiatives. 
• Liaise with external partners to maintain established relationships in advance of incidents. 
• Assist with administration of Devon’s mass notification software. 
• Support additional emergency management administrative tasks. 
• Supporting Corporate and Field Facility Life Safety activities: 
• Coordinate and help to develop facility emergency action plans.
• Help coordinate corporate and field life safety Floor Warden programs. 
• Conduct life safety facility training as needed/requested. 
• Assist with execution of corporate and field evacuation and shelter in place drills. 
• Coordinate corporate facility life safety radio network. 
• Evaluate and develop facility life safety training courses. 
• Engage in industry related organizations as appropriate (LEPC, emergency management associations, Oil and Natural Gas Subsector Coordinating Council, etc.).
• Support Corporate and Field Security operations with joint security/emergency management activities.  
• This position requires work hours outside of the typical workday/week and may require travel within the U.S.  This position will have responsibilities as delegated by leaders within the Emergency Management and Security Programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Completion of FEMA Incident Command System IS-100.c, IS-120.c, IS-200.c, IS-230.e, IS-700.b, IS-800.d 
• Position must receive and maintain, First Aid/CPR/AED training; may be completed on the job 
• Ability to work under pressure and to work extended hours with little notice 
• Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point etc. 
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Word, OneNote, Teams, and Power Point 
• FEMA Incident Command System Train-the-Trainer, E-449 
• Completion of the Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program 
• Master Exercise Practitioner
