This position will be responsible for the support and deployment of cloud data solutions using tools including Azure Databricks (Python/Scala/SQL) and Azure Data Factory to develop, enhance, and support critical Data transformations and movement at Devon Energy.

• Work with the business analyst to understand requirements regarding data definitions, transformation logic, and data model logical and physical designs, data flow, and process 
• Design, develop, and test data processes per business requirements, following the development standards and best practices as well as participate in code peer reviews to ensure our applications comply with best practices
• Design of data modeling, physical schema properties, triggers, and stored procedures
• Document and review requirements, technical specifications, and customer expectations
• Participate in building architecture and design of data management solutions based on customer needs
• Develop, test and deploy data integration solutions in accordance with customer’s schedule
• Provide training and enablement for the customer
• Execute test plan and document results
• Debug solutions 
• Provide regular reports to communicate project status

• Experience in data analysis and data profiling against source systems and data warehouse
• Experience in design of data and analytic processes using Databricks, Informatica, Azure Data Factory and Snowflake
• Expert-level SQL skills in Oracle and/or SQL Server (SAP HANA and Snowflake a plus)
• Experience with DevOps process 
• Experience in scripting in Operating Systems (Windows, Unix and Linux)
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skillsTrack record of accomplishment with handling customers and managing complex data management needs
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Analytical and organizational skills align with great attention to detail
• Ability to work as a team player
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred
• Ability to learn and utilize new technologies
• Ability to follow project management methodology processes
• 3-5 Years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
