Job Overview
Internships provide opportunities to learn and apply Environmental, Health, & Safety principles through a combination of team and individual project assignments. Devon offers field-based internships within EHS that provide candidates with real-world experience in one of the most active oil and gas basins.
Major Responsibilities
Interns will apply general Health & Safety principles, theories, and concepts to assignments such as, but not limited to:

Completing and/or observing the completion of permitted work (Energy Isolation, Confined Space, etc.)

Participating in Operational Readiness Reviews prior to facility start-up

Facilitating and/or participating in Health & Safety training classes
-
Gaining industry knowledge of EHS topics through exposure to Devon EHS Protocols
-
Conducting statistical analysis and trending of EHS event data
Other Learning Opportunities
Interns will receive diversified learning opportunities through on-the-job assignments, utilizing the technical skills acquired in college. This internship will assist in technical and professional development.

Full time student

Pursuing degree in Safety Engineering Technology or any other related degree program

Graduation Year: December 2024 thru May 2026
