The I&E Foreman coordinates and supervises the day to day operations of I&E personnel. Responsible for instrumentation and electrical issues and equipment associated with oil and gas production facilities. Works closely with Production Operations, Asset Integrity, Facilities, and external contractors. Provides performance and salary reviews, as well as disciplinary action.


High School diploma or equivalent


Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of related industry experience


•    Ensure the safe, economic and environmentally sensitive installation of all instrumentation and electrical equipment in the district in accordance with standards and regulations
•    Understand and apply all Company policies and ensures others comply with these policies
•    Demonstrate and promote safe and ethical behavior at all times, and possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected
•    Supervise a number of instrumentation and electrical trades staff
•    Work with Operations staff to troubleshoot process issues, automation configurations and graphical interface modifications
•    Mentor, train, review, and develop I&E personnel 


•    Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred
•    Practice safe work habits at all times
•    Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•    Thorough understanding of the technologies associated in the control, design and operations of oil & gas facilities
•    Supervisory experience in a related field of expertise is an asset
•    Previous exposure to various administrative programs in trade
•    Position requires operation of Company vehicles. Incumbent must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies                          
•    Able to travel and work extended hours
