BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The I&E Foreman will help provide leadership and technical support of the safe and reliable operation of the field and infrastructure. Manage the repair, alteration, and preventative maintenance of the operation to improve the productivity of the asset. They will support their team in both planned and unplanned maintenance which will ensure the work is completed in an efficient and effective manner. As the leader of this complex group, the responsibility of identifying training opportunities, will be an integral part of growth and success for this department. This role will ensure a productive workforce that supports all divisions, departments, sites, and corporate goals while in accordance with all company policies, local, state and federal regulations.

 

EDUCATION 
High School diploma or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE 
Requires a minimum of 5-7 years of related industry experience 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Supervise on site field operations of the Company’s operated properties including I&E maintenance of production facilities.

• Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and/or transport our products as our highest priority.
• Support and champion progression of the PFIC Roadmap.
• Instills and promotes the One Team Culture

• Ensure all safety devices and environmentally sensitive equipment are repaired and the maintenance of all instrumentation and electrical equipment in the B.U. are installed and maintained with current standards.
• Understand and apply all Company policies and ensures employee and contractors comply with regulations.
• Demonstrate and promote safe and ethical behavior. Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected. 

• Supervise several instrumentation and electrical employees and contractors. 
• Organize the flow of communication between Operations, Engineers, Technicians, etc. Keeping all necessary parties informed to meet the business needs.
• Oversee the Preventative Maintenance Program for the electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical groups. 

• Work with Operations and Engineering staff to troubleshoot process issues, automation configurations and graphical interface modifications. 
• Ensures technicians have the required skills, training, and certifications to perform the required work. (Mentor, train, review, and develop). 
• Identify opportunities for improvements in production, cost efficiencies and/or problem areas (i.e., parted rods, electrical problems, plunger lift optimization, etc.) and take necessary action.

• Be able to provide monthly cost tracking expenses (labor/Material).
• Track equipment repair progress to ensure facility/infrastructure reliability and capability meets production schedule.
• Recommends enhancement to production equipment and operations.

• Possess the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected.
• Has the ability to work with multiple different groups to a common goal.
• Understand the mission of a task and provide positive value in getting all parties aligned.

• Provides an environment that promotes growth and development in and around the team.
• Constructs a sound working relationship with peer groups to ensure a quality service is being provided to the customer in a reasonable time frame.

• Evaluates annual employee performance and provides quarterly reviews.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.

• Practice safe work habits at all times.

• Basic computer skills.

• Work scheduled maintenance repairs.
• Familiar with SAP for material, job tracking and scheduling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to work within a team environment.
• Creative individual, capable of analyzing and solving mechanical problems.
• Strong leadership, supervisory and coaching skills.

• Position requires operation of Company vehicles. Incumbent must maintain a clean driving record and adhere to Company policies. 
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
• Understanding of economic evaluations and indicators and how they affect projects.

• Able to travel and work extended hours.
